This meant that doctor Lyu Qingquan, who worked in one of Wuhan's main hospitals, did not see his wife or son for three months. As he slept in a small office next to the hospital, his son used a pair of binoculars to look down from their apartment balcony. And though he never could see his father clearly, it was his way of showing support and pride.
